Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Leadership Drive a people centric culture based on proactive talent management. Motivate team through a compelling vision and direction to encompass Club Monaco's core values. Responsible for the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of store teams. Develop a leadership talent pool to achieve succession planning for district and company. Ensure that all store training and development programs are being implemented and monitored for success. Provide continuous feedback to the store management teams to ensure development and career growth. Build productive, collaborative partnerships and encourage diverse points of view. Plan and facilitate productive store visits reviewing: KPI's, people development, and visual merchandising compliance. Act as leader amongst peers in the field and with business partners. Customer Experience Drive a customer centric mentality. Encourage decision making in stores that supports this behavior. Align expectations and activities to support a seamless, channel agnostic, experience that resonates with our customers. Communicate effectively with customers to determine needs and demonstrate ways to increase personal and store productivity. Actively grow local customer base through outreach and engagement. Emulate the brand aesthetic and embody a strong sense of fashion sensibility and an enthusiastic attitude. Ensure all stores are maintained to brand standards including associate presentation, dress code, and visual merchandising standards in order to create an elevated customer experience. Operational Excellence Drive and maintain the operational excellence within the retail doors and ensure adherence to all corporate/store policy and procedures. Analyze and react to business trends regarding assortment, communicating sell-through, and opportunities to increase sales. Communicate feedback to business partners on continuous operational improvement opportunities Oversee and control payroll budget and weekly hours to ensure appropriate customer to associate ratios Protect market assets through compliance with Asset protection practices to control shrink and promote safety of our valued teams. Ensure physical maintenance of stores appearance and cleanliness.
- 5+ years management experience in a customer centric environment
- Multi-store management experience
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
- Financial management: proven success with driving top line sales, customer engagement, payroll and expense management.
- Leadership management: solid experience with attracting, development, and retention of top talent.
- Ability to work full-time including variable hours: early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
- Extensive travel required
