MANAGER, LOGISTICS - ZARA

Work location: Montreal or Toronto (Brampton)

As part of the Zara logistics team, you will be responsible for optimizing the e-commerce logistics in Canada, working with our partners to define and challenge our best practices, making sure we remain cost effective while delivering exceptional quality. We love our garments !

ROLE

Distribution Center Management:

Search for suppliers, deployment of operations, monitoring and management of operations

KPI analysis and definition and implementation of improvement plans

Planning, analysis and improvement of processes and procedures

Communication with corporate logistics and transportation departments, the commercial department, and customer service

Monitoring compliance with deadlines, quality, budgets, etc.

Flow control / Lean Management

Team management (in-house and outsourced)

Warehouse:

Negotiate the rates and organize the operations with the Warehouse

Implement corporate solutions at the warehouse

Organize schedule for pick-up and delivery to the local stores

PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Engineering or Supply Chain Management(MBA is an asset)
• Exceptional communication and analytics Skills
• Experience in project development (budget management, expansions, etc.)
• Experience with a contingent workforce during peak seasons
• Flexibility, proactiveness and initiative.
• Availability to travel frequently.
• Bilingualism
