This includes collaborating with many internal departments like planning, operations, engineering,... to insure all metrics are met for operations, brands and for customer service levels. Additionally, this position will lead a team of schedulers, take an active or lead role with CI projects, and provide innovative/creative actionable items to improve the overall scheduling processes. KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise team to ensure a comprehensive schedule is developed, maintained, and issued to all ops areas to meet necessary demands and are met with optimal efficiency, including service levels, net attainment, absolute attainment, validation, line trials, optimized format sequencing, etc. Manage the execution of material from ASR to staging and minimize downtime and inventory discrepancies; provide solutions to improve efficiencies and lag times. Building planning templates (excel), reports & dashboard to show performances, risks and opportunities. Manage the performance, train and mentor scheduling team. Liaise with planning teams to determine the schedule and ensure firmness across the agreed upon horizon. Manage temp agency account. Align, plan and forecast required resources. Lead and manage CI efforts for the Scheduling department as well as actively participate in CI processes. Oversee each schedule, ensure effective reporting of schedule adherence in all Ops areas and report any discrepancies while providing solutions to correct. Improve communication and transition information between shift personnel. Improve and optimize planning department. Drive values and lead by example.
