Senior Manager, Digital Marketing

This role plays a critical role in shaping the future growth of the adidas eCommerce Channel ensuring digital marketing is at the forefront of driving brand momentum online, building consumer advocacy as well as delivering measurable business impact. Drive and lead the digital Marketing team, influence US and Global Digital teams to bring about innovative and new concepts to the market. Own and manage key aspects of the Performance Marketing, Analytics, Consumer Engagement and Loyalty teams. In partnership with Global Digital Brand Commerce teams and our media agency, develop an over-arching and company-wide digital media strategy.
Key Responsibilities (Functional):
- Plan, develop and implement the Digital Marketing Strategy as part of the Digital Leadership team to drive qualified traffic to adidas.ca.
- Responsible for growing and achieving the outlined financial metrics of the eCommerce business.
- Lead the team of experienced Digital Marketers from Performance Marketing, Loyalty, Analytics and Media Agencies
- Innovate and iterate best in class Digital Marketing activities by bringing new ideas and thought leadership to the Company.
- Work cross-functionally with Buying & Planning, Consumer Experience, Site Operations, Analytics, and Brand Activation to create synergies and explore and exploit opportunities to drive additional traffic and hit acquisition targets.
- Responsible for the phasing and management of a multi-million dollar performance budget.
- Use digital analytics to develop and support ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Notify the Brand Activation team and relevant management stakeholders abreast of emerging technologies and platforms.
- Drive new ideas and formalize media partnership with key existing partners (MLSE, NHL, MLS, etc) as well as look for new partners that can deliver on traffic and site revenue goals.
- Be the digital interface for corporate stakeholders including Brand, IT, eCom, Retail.
- Demonstrate leadership to ensure the Canadian market is consistent with the global direction.
- Structure and present recommendations to senior leadership.
- Lead digital and mobile "evangelization" initiatives.
- Set clear objectives for direct reports and provide expertise in area.
- Be accountable for team development, Performance Evaluation/Planning, and salary reviews with responsibility for recruitment within the organizational development.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and partners.
- Manage and lead a wide range of complex assignments with global responsibility.
- Self-initiate assignments and determine priorities.
- Additional special projects as assigned or agreed.

Global DBC, Global Traffic Team, Global Content team, Brand Activation Teams, Buying Teams, Omni-Channel / Own retail team

Profil recherché

- Ideally have had experience working internationally and in settings requiring cross-cultural sensitivity.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- 8-10 years specific digital marketing experience required, additional brand marketing experience expected
- In depth experience and knowledge of technical and creative aspects of digital and mobile
- Experience in managing a customer relationship management or loyalty program.
- Capacity to establish short/mid and long term plans, drive execution and analyse results
- Passion for and knowledge of Digital/Mobile Marketing, Technologies and Analytics
- Exceptional collaborator with confidence and integrity to earn confidence quickly
- Strong Management skills with a proven ability to lead, retain and motivate teams
- Ability to work in a matrix organization as well as a fast paced entrepreneurial area
- Proven negotiation and communication skills
